HEARING GOD'S VOICE

COULD YOU HEAR GODS VOICE?

Some people think that it is spooky when I say that God speaks to me, but to me it would be really frightening if God did not speak to me. When you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior you will enter into a personal relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit will speak to you in various and distinct ways. He is inviting each one of you to enter into this Covenant with Him. You must first receive Jesus before you can connect with Him on this level. (See my page "Knowing God") You could then be filled with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2: 1-4

Hearing from God requires us to "Train our Senses" to discern what is from The Holy Spirit, what is from our soul (mind, will and emotions) and what is from an evil spirit. We need to learn the personal language of the Holy Spirit and how He speaks to each one of us individually. Just as we have natural senses, we also have spiritual senses. We also need the infilling of the Holy Spirit to release the words that He gives us or for whatever He has called us to do. It is imperative to pray in the Spirit (tongues) if we want to hear from God and be used supernaturally. We should do this daily to build ourselves up spiritually. The bigger he Holy Spirit lives inside of you, you will find your life in the supernatural realm will escalate. The Word of God says to build your spirit up according to Jude 1:20.God could speak any way that He desires to speak to us but anything that He says to us or shows us will never contradict what the bible says.

In Exodus 3:4 He spoke to Moses through a burning bush. In the book of Numbers chapter 22:23 the donkey was able to see the Angel of the Lord but Balaam didn't. In verse 28 the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and the donkey spoke to Balaam. This is also mentioned in 2 Peter 2:16. The Lord also gives people the gift of discerning of spirits. Some people could see or feel things on others. if you desire these gifts it is imperative to keep your hands clean and your heart pure. Jeremiah said: His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones. Impartation requires a certain reception of divine truth for transformation to take place.

HOW DOES GOD SPEAK TO PEOPLE?

Many people hear from God in dreams and visions. One third of the bible speaks about dreams. Some people just have a knowing that He is saying something, some people feel things. He will always speak through His Word (Which is the bible)

When we get to heaven we are not going to be judged by how much we have heard, read, studied or even prayed. We will be judged by what we have done with what God has given to us to do and how much we have been changed into the image of Jesus. The bible speaks about hidden treasures and mysteries in the Word of God. Mysteries don't make themselves available to a casual seeker. You have to weigh them out and you also have to press in and search for them.
