PARTAKERS OF JESUS DIVINE NATURE
As Holy Spirit filled believers we have been called to live above and beyond the limits of this life. We are called to rule and reign from another dimension and we have authority to operate concurrently in the natural realm and the supernatural realm. We have been wired for impossibilities. The Word of God says that we are partakers of Jesus divine nature. We are not called to live a mundane life but a supernatural life. Jesus wants to take your faith to a new level today. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of you.
Some of you have been asking the Lord to reveal the hidden mysteries of His word to you. The book of Colossians 1:26 says that the divine mysteries that have been concealed from the world for generations has been given to us. Being partakers of His divine nature we carry the same yoke-destroying, burden-removing power of God that Jesus had. Partakers of His divine nature in 2 Peter 1:4 means that we are partners (koinōnos) with the deity of God, father son and Holy Spirit. (Theios) We have been called to minister and release His anointing and power to others.
As partakers of Jesus divine nature, we are joint heirs with Him. We have been called by Jesus Christ (the anointed one and His anointing) not only to speak His word but to demonstrate His kingdom on this earth with signs following. Jesus commanded us to go into the world and preach the gospel to all of creation. He said: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
In Paul's second letter to the Corinthian church (1 Corinthians 2:4-5), he wrote: My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. He has equipped us and given us all things that pertain to life and godliness to carry out His plans. We are the generation that will usher in His end time harvest. We are the people who will walk in His authority and demonstrate His kingdom on this earth.
This is a new day. Our expectations should be limitless. We have been called to move mountains. Jesus is looking for those who will run the race with endurance and stand strong when the winds and waves of adversity arise. He is looking for those who will walk on water rather than allowing the waves to overtake them. They are those who will release His light into areas of darkness, and the desire of the wicked shall perish as they come into the light. We will drive out the inhabitants of the land as His glory arises within us, comes upon us and works through us.
A new voice will arise from the body of Christ as they begin to walk in a different way than the world walks. He has placed a rod in our hand and a sword in our mouth which is His Word. He has given us dominion and power over every situation that we encounter. We have the authority to decree and declare a thing and it shall be established for us. As we speak His Word situations in our lives will begin to shift. When we speak in Jesus name, mountains will move and people will be saved, healed, set free and delivered.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Colossians 1:26-27 (TPT)
There is a divine mystery—a secret surprise that has been concealed from the world for generations, but now it’s being revealed, unfolded and manifested for every holy believer to experience. Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!
2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
