A MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Walking with Jesus is so exciting. The Holy Spirit is omnipresent and He is moving at all times, and in every nation around the globe. There is not one area in the universe where God does not dwell. King David said: “Where could I go from your Spirit? Where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven you are there. If I make my bed in hell, you are there.” He is omnipotent, and wants to share His power with us believers. He is omniscient and knows all things. He is omnificent and has created all things.
As Holy Spirit filled believers we are not just human beings but we are Super-natural beings. We were created to live in two realms which is the natural realm (The flesh) and the supernatural realm (the Spirit). God did not intend for us to live a mediocre life, but the abundant life that Jesus has provided for us. If you are living a mundane Christian life, you are missing out on the extraordinary supernatural blessings that God has for you. There is so much more.
The Holy Spirit does not control us, but He leads us. He gives us a free will. When Jesus came to the earth, He came as man, but He was still God, and a prototype of the believer. Although He was here in the flesh, He was continually in communion with the father. He only did what He saw the father doing. He has also given us authority to the supernatural realm just as we have access to this natural realm.
He has given us authority to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. He wants to open our spiritual eyes to see in the spirit realm. We could be attuned with Holy Spirit to see the angels, demons and even Jesus himself. He wants to open our spiritual ears to hear what He is saying. When we harmonize with the Holy Spirit, we will be able to discern His ways.
I’ve been to many meetings where the Holy Spirit was moving in such a powerful way and we’ve seen multitudes of people healed, saved and delivered. There were times that the anointing was so thick that we just “soaked” and basked in His presence without saying a word for hours. Some of you may get offended by this but many times we were so intoxicated in the Holy Spirit that we couldn’t even walk out the door.
We are about to experience another move of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is looking for those who He could trust with His anointing. He’s calling every one of us to come up higher. I remember one time I was driving in my car on a very windy day. I looked up and saw a bunch of helium balloons floating high up in the sky. I assumed that they must have come from a party because they were all different sizes, shapes with extraordinary patterns and colors.
As I watched them ascend into the air, being carried by the winds, the Lord gave me this word. For those of you that have ears to hear, He is inviting you to come up higher. Just as helium balloons will rise up and flow whichever way the wind takes them, The Holy Spirit wants to elevate you to new levels of knowing Him, new levels of His glory and a new level of revelation.
He is offering this to every one of us and it doesn’t matter what gender, culture or denomination you are. He wants believers who are willing, obedient and filled with the Holy Spirit to be used in a magnificent way in the days ahead. He wants to use each of us in such a powerful way to transform the lives of others. Jesus is looking for someone who will say; Here I am Lord send me to usher in this next move of the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 139:10
Wherever I go, your hand will guide me, your strength will empower me.
John 3:8
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:14-15 (TPT).
“Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God,”
