There is a story in the book of 1 Samuel chapter 16 about the calling of King David. The Lord told the Prophet Samuel to fill his horn with oil and go to anoint one of Jesse's sons to be the next King. Each one of Jesse's sons passed before Samuel. The first one named Eliab passed before him. Samuel thought that surely he was the one to anoint because he considered his outward appearance. But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Abinadab then passed before him. Abinadab had a son named Eleazar who was consecrated to guard the ark of the covenant in Abinadabs house after it was returned from Palistine captivity.. (1 Samuel 7:1). It remained in his house for twenty years. He then had Shammah pass before him. Shammah was the warrior who is credited with having single-highhandedly defeated the Philistine soldiers at a lentil patch. He may also be the man who defeated 600 men of the Philistines with an ox goad.

After each one of Jesse's seven sons passed before Samuel, he told Jesse that the Lord has not chosen any of them. Samuel then asked if he had any other sons, Jesse said yes the youngest son who is tending the sheep. “Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.” So he sent for David and brought in. David was ruddy with bright eyes and handsome features. When Samuel had seen David, the Lord said to him, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!" Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.

In the same way, Jesus is anointing the next generation. Just as He passed Davids brothers up, He is also passing many others up to find the one who has a heart after Him. He is not looking for someone who is brilliant or renowned, but He is searching for the one who spends time with Him in the secret place. There are some who have been abused, used and rejected from their youth. To the world they are known as "Generation X" or "the Millennial's". They are tenacious in faith, radical for Jesus and are ready to transform the world with the glory of God. He has a master plan for their lives and they are going to defeat their enemy with the same weapon that he used against them.

The Lord says, just as I have called David as a young shepherd boy to be a King, I have called you to be used in an extraordinary way. Just as I anointed him and raised him up to be a mighty warrior, I also anoint you to be strong and very courageous. There is no need to be fearful or fainthearted because you will minister in My strength and anointing. You will know the authority that I have placed on your life as I raise you up for the end times. As the world looks at you and see's your faults and failures, I see you as the mighty warrior that I have created you to be.

Don't see yourself in defeat, neither see yourself as the person who you once were because I have created you to be a giant slayer. You will arise and defeat the powers of the enemy because you have been called to greatness. You have been created for My end time plan. Just as David confronted and killed Goliath, so shall you stand against the giants and conquer them. Just as David killed the lion and the bear, you are well able to overcome every obstacle and adversity that comes against you.

I will train your hands for war and your fingers for battle, an have gifted you and called you to do great exploits. I have created each one of you for a unique purpose and placed My anointing upon your lives. I strategically designed each one of you to be different from the others. Don't try to emulate the calling of someone else, but imitate their life by following their blameless lifestyle and holy way of living as you clothe yourselves in robes of righteousness. I have given you the personality and the temperament to be just as you are and to do all that you were called to do.
You are unique because you are not of this world but you have been set apart for such a time as this. You have been chosen for a particular assignment. As you stay steadfast in your convictions and uncompromising in your walk with Me, I will visit you and speak to you. As I anointed David, I now anoint you, saying "Arise, anoint him, for this Is the one" says the Lord.

1 Samuel 16: 7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have [ c ]refused him. For[ d  the Lord does  not  see  as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

1 Samuel 16:11-13
And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not [ e ]sit down till he comes here.” So he sent and brought him in. Now he  was  ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this  is  the one!” Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

There are a lot of things stirring in the spirit realm. The Holy Spirit is beginning to move across the nations. We are going to see more revival meetings in stadiums filled with people worshipping Jesus because they are hungry for God. This is why the enemy has been trying to discourage and disrupt the lives of believers. He has been trying to silence those who have a prophetic voice, and trying to bring discord and division among the body of Christ. We are coming into a time when prophets will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit with precision, and release it with accuracy just as the prophets of old.

We are going to experience Supernatural Signs and Wonders in the days ahead.

In the book of 2 Kings Chapter 6 Elisha went with a group of prophets to the Jordan River to cut down some trees to build a place to stay. As they were cutting them down, one man’s borrowed ax head fell into the water. Elisha asked him where it fell and he pointed the location out to him. Elisha then threw a stick into the water and something supernatural happened. The iron ax head floated to the top of the water. This stick was symbolic of the cross of Jesus and His resurrection.

The Jordan River is symbolic for several things. It was the river that the Israelites crossed over into the Promised Land. It was also the river that Elijah parted with his cloak as he and Elisha walked through on dry land. Soon after, Elijah was caught up in a whirlwind as chariots of fire with horses of fire appeared. After Elijah was taken up, Elisha then took Elijah’s cloak and called on God saying “Where is the God of Elijah?” The river then parted for Elisha in the same manner. There are ministers who will receive a double portion anointing of those who passed on and entrusted their ministries to them.

The Jordan River was also the river that Jesus was baptized in. After Jesus was baptized and came up out of the water, the heavens were opened. He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Again it is symbolic of resurrection power.

Our Eyes are going to be Opened to see in the Spirit Realm.

In 2 Kings 6:17 As the army encamped around them, Elisha asked the Lord to open his servant’s eyes so that he will see the angelic hosts protecting them. The Lord opened his eyes and he saw the mountain filled with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. He didn’t see this in the natural but his spiritual eyes were opened. Some of you could only see the darkness that seems to be encamped around you but the Lord is about to open your spiritual eyes. He wants to show you the angelic realm as well as the demonic realm.

The Lord is releasing Spiritual Discernment.

Those who are listening to the father’s heart will receive keen spiritual discernment. In the book of 2 Kings 6 when the King of Syria was making war against Israel, he didn’t understand how Israel knew his secret plans. He asked his own army officers which one of them was a spy. One of his officers replied, “None of us, my lord the king,” but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”

The Holy Spirit is going to reveal the plans of the enemy. He will reveal the evil hearts of men. He will reveal deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him. Some of you feel as if you lost communication with Jesus but the Lord says; You have not lost favor with Me, neither have you lost communication. As you trusted Me in the silent times, I will speak to you once again. You will regain your spiritual hearing.

Those of you who have been desensitized to His voice will hear once again. His voice is able to break through the barriers and tear down the hindrances that are blocking you from hearing. Those of you who have felt disconnected will sense His presence once again. His anointing that seemed to dissipate from your life will be restored. Just as the Lord revealed Himself to others, He will reveal myself to you.

2 Kings 2:8
Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

2 Kings 6:6-7
So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it.

2 Kings 6:11-12
Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, “Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?” And one of his servants said, “None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

As we just entered into the New Year “2020” many believers are coming in with great expectations. We may be experiencing chaos in the nations, and you may be having turmoil in your own personal life but Jesus wants to bring the body of Christ into a season of great adventures. It is time for us to speak and prophesy to the dead bones and command them to be resurrected. It is our time to be awakened to fresh revelation, and have the Word of God quickened on the inside of us.

In the book of Ezekiel the Prophet Ezekiel had an incredible encounter with the Lord as He brought him into the valley of dry bones. The Lord then asked him, could these bones live? Ezekiel replied; "Sovereign Lord, You alone know." Then the Lord told him to prophesy to those dry bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you, and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

Many of you feel as if you are in the valley of dry bones. Your life may seem to be in chaos and situations may appear to be barren and parched. Some of you are battling in your spiritual life and some in your natural life and you are wondering how things will ever resume and be recovered. The Lord wants to revive those dead things and restore life back into you. He wants you to prophesy to those dry bones to live again. As you speak, the breath of God will revive and resuscitate those dry and dead areas.

The Lord says I am restoring the dry bones back to life. Allow Me to revive those things that are lifeless and barren. Speak to those things and command resurrection power. I Am the resurrection and the Life and I will awaken those dreams that I have placed in your heart and resurrect those promises that I have made to you. I am loosing you from the death sentence that has attached itself to you, and bringing you into a life of victory. Don't allow your present situations to take you into spiritual atrophy. I will refresh those areas that are parched and dry, resuscitate those areas that are lifeless, and resurrect that which is dead. Flesh will come upon you, sinews will materialize and My breath of life will fill you and sustain you once again.

I am raising up a great army from among the dead bones and I will use your lives, your voices and your breath to resuscitate this generation. I am restoring those gifts that have been laying dormant on the inside of you, and breathing My breath of life into you. As you breathe into the lives of others, they will experience resurrection power. As you speak and prophesy, lives will awaken and dry bones shall come to life once again. Trust in Me as I begin to strengthen those things that are lethargic, and quicken to life to those things which have deceased. Be assured that all My promises will come to pass.

Be encouraged and know that life will come into those hopeless situations. Don't be disheartened but trust Me to breathe My breath into the precious lives of others once again. You have been created with a purpose, therefore do not consider your situations to be unattainable. Speak life! Speak My word over your situations. I am the God of restoration and resurrection and nothing is impossible with Me. Others will also be loosed from the garments of death and will come to life through your words, your breath and through the touch of your hands. For the time of resurrection has come says The Lord.

Ezekiel 37:1-10
The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord God, You know." Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord."

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. Also He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live." So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

"Whenever God gives freedom, it is always implicit that the freedom He gives you can be given to other people.
You can go around setting other people free from the very thing that you were victimized by. God comes into
your life and He turns the areas of your abuse into areas of ministry and significance. He gives you a calling
in the area where the enemy tried to strip you of your identity or even kill your life. Your testimony is the
beginning of your ministry!"
