APRIL 2019

April 27, 2019

There are many instances in the bible when the Lord spoke to people in visions and dreams. He put Abraham into a deep sleep to make a covenant with him, He gave Abimelech a warning dream not to touch Sarah because she was Abraham’s wife. He gave Joseph a dream which we all know as “Joseph’s coat of many colors”. Through a series of events Joseph was brought from the pit to the palace. During this time he interpreted Pharaoh's dreams as well as his cup bearer and baker's dreams.

In a dream He showed Jacob a ladder into heaven with angels ascending and descending. When Jacob awoke he said “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”    And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

He spoke to Solomon in a dream and said: Whatever you want I will give to you. Solomon asked for wisdom. The Lord replied: Because you have not asked for long life or riches and honor or the lives of your enemies, I will also give you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days and if you keep my ways as your father David did, I will lengthen your days. The Lord gave Nebuchadnezzar a dream in which Daniel interpreted. Daniel also had many visions, revelations and encounters of the end times.

In the New Testament the Lord sent an angel to Joseph in a dream and told him not to be afraid and to take Mary as his wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Pilate's wife had a nightmare convincing her that Jesus was the Messiah. The Lord also gave Peter a vision while praying on a rooftop showing him that he is not bound by the law and not to call anything unclean. God spoke to John on the island of Patmos in the book of Revelation. He received encounters with visions and revelations of the end times.

In the book of Acts Peter stood up in the Upper Room and quoted the prophecy from Joel 2:28-29. We are living in a time when many people are receiving dreams from heaven. Many of you don’t realize that some of your dreams are prophetic in nature. They are directional dreams, destiny dreams and warning dreams. They are dreams to instruct you, heal you and encourage you. The enemy will also try to counterfeit this and bring dreams of fear, confusion and delusion.

Several years ago I had a dream which I now realize was a warning dream. This dream showed intricate details of the plans of the kingdom of darkness against me personally in an allegorical dream. Jesus gives us the opportunity to intercede on behalf of our dreams to derail the strategies of the enemy.

I want to share another prophetic dream that I had several years ago which I shared once before. A few years ago I was in a service and I had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit. I remember how I was still enveloped in the anointing of God when I got home. That night I had two separate dreams which were two hours apart. These prophetic dreams are more relevant for today than they were when I received them.

In the first dream I was in a huge ancient place. There were surrounding mountains that appeared to be made of ivory. A very gracious lady was giving me a tour of this magnificent place but I don't recall what her face looked like. All I could remember was that her countenance was pleasant and loving as an angel. As I walked with her we saw numerous eagles in cages made of wood and metal. Each eagle was in its own cage. Many of them were not full-grown eagles but they were various ages and sizes.

As this lady was showing me around, we noticed one young eaglet that broke out of its wooden crate, as it broke the wood by pushing it up with its beak and simply hopping out. Although it was an eagle, its appearance was different from a full-grown eagle because it was a very young eaglet. When the lady saw this she laughed in amusement and gently placed the eaglet back into the crate because it wasn't time for it to be released.

There were also some young lions. There was one young lion which I recognized was a female because it didn't have a mane. This young lion was on a long leash but I couldn't understand why it was so gentle rather than vicious. As I continued to walk with her I was looking up in amazement at the huge arched cathedral ceilings which were approximately fifty feet high and made of a beautiful engraved stone. I asked her who owned this place and she responded, "Two Jewish men." I then looked up and saw two gigantic ancient doors made of dark brown brass. Engraved in gold leaf in these doors were the words: "Tallit and Tekiah".

When I woke up I recorded this dream and went back to sleep. Two hours later I had another dream where I went back to that place and this time I heard anointed music playing in the atmosphere. I was talking to a Jewish man with a long robe. I saw the two ancient doors again and in front of the man was a podium with the inscription that said: Isaiah 45

Isaiah 45:1-3, "Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held - To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the Double Doors, so that the gates will not be shut: I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name am the God of Israel."

The next morning I looked up the two words "Tallit and Tekiah" and found that the tallit is a Jewish prayer shawl and the tekiah is the sound that a shofar (rams horn) makes. The sound of the tekiah is especially used in the celebration for Rosh Hashanah, Passover and Yom Kippur which represents victory and freedom and is still in practice today. Jews also still wear the tallit today during prayer (prayer shawl).

This is the prophetic word that I received:

The Lord says, "I am raising up many prophets, prophetic voices and visionaries from among you. There are many young eagles in training. Many of them are hidden away, some are in the fields, some are in the marketplace but each one is spending time in the secret place. They are in intercession and worshiping Me as they are preparing their hearts for what I have for them.

"These young eagles are being raised up to proclaim My prophetic voice and My Word to the nations. When they come before you, embrace them and do not refuse them because they are being sent forth as My representatives. Do not judge them by their outward appearance, education, inadequacies or lack of stamina. They are My chosen generation who will go forth with great power and anointing. They are warriors and have no fear of the enemies revenge or retaliation because they know who they are. They have been tested in the fire and have survived the lion's den.

"Don't look at their situations of where they are now because many are going to be amazed as they see them rebound right into the place that they were called to be. I will release to them the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places and you will be amazed what I am about to do with their lives," says the Lord.

Numbers 12:6
“Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I , the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.

Job 33:15-16
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.

Daniel 2:22
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.

The Lord showed me a picture of people who were so warn down, fatigued and almost “out for the count”. I don’t know much about wrestling but the Holy Spirit showed me an analogy of a wrestling match. During a wrestling match the two contestants will try to take the other wrestler down. They have to force their opponent’s shoulders to the mat and they must have them on their back before a count out begins. This is called a “takedown”. The referee then begins a count out from ten to zero. If the opponent doesn’t get up after the count out, then the man who took him down wins the match.

This is what I saw. The enemy has taken some of you down. You are bruised and battered and don’t think that you have the strength to get back up. The Lord says: He has your back and He will give you the strength to endure. The apostle Paul was thrown into prison several times, beaten with rods countless times, stoned, shipwrecked, falsely accused, attacked by the religious leaders, soothsayers and false prophets. Nevertheless, he was used mightily in salvations, miracles, signs and wonders. After Jesus transformed his life on the road to Damascus he said that he would never deny him.

The men and women in the bible were not quitters. In 1 Samuel 17:36 David killed a lion and a bear with his bare hands and then killed Goliath with a sling and a stone. In 1 Chronicles 12:8 David raised up a mighty army who were so extreme that their faces were as the faces of lions and they were swift as gazelles on the mountains. In the book of Judges 15:14-15 Samson was tied up and handed over to the Philistines. The Spirit of the Lord came upon him and the ropes on his hands were burned up. He then killed 1,000 Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey.

The Holy Spirit has also been showing me some believers who were once on fire for the Lord but have now lost their zeal. They began in the Spirit but have ended up in the flesh. Just as the apostle Paul asked the Galatian church: “Who has bewitched you”? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Some of you have to stir yourselves up once again.

I want to encourage you this Resurrection week to allow that same power that raised Jesus from the dead to also quicken your mortal bodies. Jesus has given you the victory and you are no longer a victim. You are on the winning team and His plans can not be thwarted and no power in hell could defeat you.

2 Corinthians 4:8-11
Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out. We continually share in the death of Jesus in our own bodies [ c ]  so that the resurrection life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity. We consider living to mean that we are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake so that the life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity.

Galatians 3:3-4
Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so  [ c ] many things in vain—if indeed  it was  in vain?

There is a story in the book of Genesis about a man named Abraham and his wife Sarah. They left their families and even their country trusting the Lord at His word to bless them and make them a great nation. The word of the Lord came to Abraham in a vision and told him that he was going to have a child. The Lord put Abraham in a deep sleep and made a covenant with him. When I read this passage I remembered when the Lord also put Adam into a deep sleep when He created Eve from his rib.

Sarah gave her Egyptian maid Hagar over to her husband so they could have a son. Abraham went along with Sarahs wishes and Hagar conceived and had a son which they named Ishmael. This was not Gods promised son. Then the Lord reminded me of the time that Adam followed his wife Eve by eating the forbidden fruit which was not Gods will.

Some of you are tired of waiting on Gods promise and you are about to settle for an Ishmael. If you follow your natural instincts you will not produce what Jesus has for you. Don’t try to make things happen in your own strength. Refuse to give birth to an Ishmael because the Lord has an Isaac planned for you if you wait on Him.

Ten years later the Lord came down and appeared to Abraham. He changed his name from Abram to Abraham and changed his wife’s name from Sarai to Sarah. He told him that Sarah herself was going to have a son and will name him Isaac. Abraham fell on his face and laughed to himself. Although he was a man of faith, this sounded ridiculous to him because of their age.

In chapter eighteen, The Lord appeared to Abraham again as three men came to him. He told him once again that Sarah was going to have a son. Sarah overheard this conversation and she also laughed in unbelief. Although they trusted the Lord all along, they were now looking at their situation in the natural which was their old age. Then the Lord said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?' Is anything too hard for the Lord?

The story goes on to say in chapter 21 that Sarah conceived a son named Isaac in her old age. This was his promised son. The name Isaac means “laugh”. Ishmael is not Gods perfect will but it is something that is born of the flesh. John 3:6 says: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

The Lord says, is there anything too difficult for Me? Don't allow situations in the natural to steal your faith. Trust in My promises and provisions. Do not see yourself as inadequate but know that I can do more with your life than you could do in the natural. I am El Shaddai and nothing is too difficult for Me. Just as I told Abraham to leave everything behind and trust Me in the journey ahead, I am calling you to trust Me with your future.

Just as I led Abraham, I will also lead you. I am the same yesterday, today and forever and I am still speaking today. Just as I honored Abrahams prayers and did not destroy the city for ten righteous, will I not honor your prayers? Trust Me for your families, your cities and even your countries to be brought into My kingdom. Believe My word to answer every prayer and supplication.
Don't make hasty decisions, which will produce an Ishmael. Wait on that which I have promised to you because it shall surely come to pass. Just as I made a Covenant with Abraham, I have made a Covenant with you . Wait on My promise. Your promised seed, Isaac is on the way. Don't allow the enemy to magnify the difficulties in your life and make then appear unconquerable.

I will bring you through situations that you have not been able to go through on your own and open the doors that need to be opened.Trust Me to move every obstacle that is blocking you from getting to your destination. Go forth in that which I have commissioned for you to do. Go without fear or wavering, surrendering all for the assignment that I have for your life says the Lord.

Genesis 18:10 -14
And He said, "I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son." (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?" And the Lord said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?' Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

Romans 4:3
Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Hebrews 11:8 -12
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude-innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

April 6, 2018

Today I was thinking about an old saying “April showers bring May flowers”. As I thought about this the Holy Spirit quickened this word to me. I believe that 2019 is the beginning of a great harvest in the Kingdom of God and a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit has already begun.

In the book of Acts chapter two we read about the day of Pentecost when the disciples were in the Upper Room in one accord, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. They were so intoxicated with the glory of God that some of the onlookers thought that they were literally drunk with wine. Peter went on to say, these men are not drunk as you suppose, and he quoted the prophecy from the book of Joel 2:28 -32.

In the book of Acts chapter four Peter and John were thrown into prison because they were speaking about Jesus being resurrected from the dead. A revival broke out in the prison and many were healed. They were brought before the elders, the scribes and the high priests. After witnessing many miracles, they asked Peter and John, by what power or by what name have you done this? Then Peter filled with the Holy Ghost told them that it was by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom was crucified, and God raised from the dead. When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. They realized that they had been with Jesus.

Although Peter and John were threatened and told not to speak in Jesus name, they were so consumed with His glory that they continued to speak about His miraculous power. They prayed, and asked the Lord for boldness, to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Jesus. As they were praying, the building where they were assembled literally shook and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

The Lord says, The showers are falling once again and I am releasing a mighty wind of My glory to transform lives "suddenly". Multitudes will be brought into the kingdom for such a time as this. Many will be healed, captives will be delivered and set free, and many will be brought into repentance. This season for the latter day rain is upon us.

I am stirring the atmosphere to bring change to the church as you know it. Angelic activity is being released from the third heaven that no man can stop or reverse. Do not judge things by what you see happening in the natural, but watch what I am about to do. I Am El Shaddai and I am sending a tsunami of My glory over the nations.

Just as the winds are blowing in the natural, I am about to send a mighty rushing wind across this nation and around the world. Just as the winds came "suddenly" in the upper room, I am sending My Glory to revamp things in the natural. That which I intended for in these last days shall be accomplished. There will be a great acceleration in the lives and hearts of people.

I will bring times of refreshing in times of drought. I will bring light to areas where darkness seems to prevail. I am sending the latter and the former rains. Do not become fearful when you see the dark clouds but rejoice. It is the dark clouds that carry the heavy rain. This is where My glory dwells and My Anointing will be released. As I said in My word, the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea; says the Lord.

Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Acts 2:1-4
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 4:29-31
Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
